APPDA Coimbra

APPDA Coimbra is a local NGO. In 2002, was established by the acquisition of legal personality and full administrative and financial autonomy, being regulated by new statutes (Diário da República no. 118, 3rd series, May 22nd, 2003). It was also registered as a Private Social Solidarity Institution, through the register in Book 9 of the Social Solidarity Associations with the # 37/2003. MISSION is to provide specific and individualized services to Persons with Developmental Disorders and Autism (ASD) and their families, thus facilitating their autonomy, inclusion, and full citizenship. VISION: APPDA intends to increase support and adapt the offered services to the needs of persons with ASD and their families and plans to be credited by its quality both nationally and internationally. http://www.appdacoimbra.com/ https://www.facebook.com/Appda- Coimbra It has, actually, 20 permanent employees in its staff, distributed among the various responses and services: 6 Senior Technicians (5F; 1M) and 14 employees considered in Other service personnel (11F + 3M). To collaborate in the training of future technicians, each year we include in our responses: 1 full curricular internship and 2 or 3 short internships
